About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Manager. This is a hands-on onsite role that blends operational excellence with human resources oversight. Youll be responsible for optimizing production efficiency while fostering a culture of accountability teamwork and safety. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills operational know-how and a deep understanding that people are the driving force behind every successful operation.
Responsibilities
Operations Management
Lead and manage all day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet safety quality and productivity goals.
Track and improve KPIs to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
Oversee departmental budgets cost controls and resource planning.
Coordinate with maintenance supply chain and vendors to ensure seamless production flow.
Human Resources Functions
Support hiring onboarding and retention of both plant and administrative personnel.
Manage employee relations conflict resolution and performance issues in collaboration with HR/legal.
Ensure adherence to labor laws OSHA regulations and internal policies.
Lead performance reviews and support professional development initiatives.
Maintain accurate employee documentation and timekeeping systems.
Leadership & Culture
Champion a safety-first team-oriented workplace culture.
Act as a bridge between production teams and senior leadership.
Encourage collaboration between departments including HR quality and logistics.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Operations Management HR or a related field (MBA or HR certification is a plus)
7 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing or production environments
Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
Proven success in leading teams managing operational budgets and driving process improvements
Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills
ERP system proficiency
Compliance Training: Must be AS9100 ISO and ITAR trained with a solid understanding of quality standards documentation control and export compliance procedures
