Job Summary: The Corporate Sales Associate is responsible for identifying developing and secuting new business opportunities in the corporate and group events market. Events may include corporate retreats teambuilding excutiosn executive off-sites client entertainment and more. Group size range from 12 150 attendess and may include on-site lodging golf outings private dining and customized experiences at Tahoe Mountain Club.

Because of the fluctuating demands of the Clubs operation it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore as an essential part of your job you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly you may be expected to perform other tasks not specifically addressed above.

Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Marketing or related field is preferred. Three years of corporate event sales hospitatlity sales or related experience. Proven track recors of achiving or exceeding sales targets. Strong knowledge eof event planning process and hospitality industry standards.
Language/Communication: Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain open communication with managers and fellow coworkers. Must display professional demeanor and communicate in professional language at all times. Must have and exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have excellent cross-functional teamwork skills with an ability to identify areas of efficiency and embody an instatiable drive for excellence in execution. Must be highly detail-oriented creative and able to manage budgets effectively. Must be proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certificates/Licenses: Completion of required company and state-mandated trainings (e.g. Harassment Prevention Workplace Violence Prevention Heat Illness Prevention etc.).
