Key Responsibilities for Field Supervisor Home Automation & Security
- Supervise daily activities of installation and service technicians in the field ensuring projects are completed safely accurately and on schedule
- Conduct on-site inspections to maintain quality control and guarantee compliance with company standards and safety regulations
- Offer coaching mentorship and feedback to team members to support skill development and outstanding customer service
- Collaborate with scheduling and account management teams to coordinate resources and resolve challenges in the field
- Troubleshoot installation technical or customer issues as they arise escalating when needed
- Maintain detailed records of site visits progress updates and team performance metrics
- Promote a positive inclusive and safe work environment for all field employees
What Makes You a Strong Candidate for Field Supervisor Jobs
- Experience in a supervisory team lead or senior technician role within home automation electrical security or related industries preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects across varied locations
- Strong problem-solving abilities and practical knowledge of safety protocols
- Clear professional communication skills with both team members and customers
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to motivate and support diverse teams
- Proficient using tablets smartphones and applicable software tools for project management and reporting
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record required
Minimum Qualifications for Field Supervisor Careers at HomePro
- 3 years of experience in the field (home technology low voltage electrical security or similar preferred)
- At least 1 year of direct supervisory or leadership experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or higher education a plus
- OSHA safety or industry-related certifications highly desirable

- Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend or evening hours as required
