Pay: $25.00 to $30.00/hr DOE (plus shift differential)
Location: Owasso OK
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00 PM 12:00 AM (OT as needed)

Position Overview:
We are hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to join a leading food manufacturing facility in Owasso. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting repairing and performing routine maintenance on a variety of food processing and packaging equipment. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment that requires both mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on conveyors slicers grinders packaging machines HVAC systems and more.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical pneumatic hydraulic and electrical equipment to reduce downtime.
- Replace defective machine parts and ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of refrigeration systems for food safety compliance.
- Assist in equipment installations and upgrades as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs maintenance and inventory.
- Train production staff on basic troubleshooting and proper machine usage.
- Follow all OSHA USDA FDA and company safety standards.
Required Experience & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training is a plus.
- 35 years of Maintenance Mechanic experience in food manufacturing or meat processing.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with PLCs automation systems and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
- Must be comfortable working in cold/humid environments and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willing to work nights weekends and holidays as needed.
