Position: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician II
Location: Bedford MA 01730

Shift Timings: Weekends 2nd shift - Thursday to Sunday From 02:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Note: The new hire will begin on the 1st shift for training and shadowing. This training period will last approximately 1 to 2 months depending on the individuals proficiency and adaptability. The 1st shift runs Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (8-hour shifts).
Job Description:
- The Mfg Equipment Maintenance Technician II is responsible for repairing and maintaining all process equipment under the direction of a senior/lead maintenance technician.
- A strong relationship with manufacturing is needed to understand their needs and provide good customer support.
- Technical skills will be utilized to solve medium complexity problems as directed by Supervisors Leads and Senior team members
What you will do
- Perform duties within the corporate EH&S standards and place proper emphasis on safety and quality.
- Complete standard work and procedures
- Provide reduced downtime and maximum uptime for manufacturing process equipment
- Help solve problems drive solutions troubleshooting and preventing future failures
- Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as Agitators Pressure Vessels Pumps Mechanical Seals Valves Electric Motors Hydraulic Units etc. under the guidance of other senior team members
- Repair or replace control devices such as switches pressure gauges temperature probes proximity sensors push-buttons valves etc. as needed.
- Identify and participate in low level projects to help drive continuous improvement.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Work Order (WO) repairs inspections and adjustments.
- Enter work order information check out parts and notify admins if stock levels are low in the CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Required Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma or GED required

Associates or Vocational Degree preferred.

1 to 4 year experience in equivalent field or related field and or Mechanical skills

Proficient with various hand tools working in a mechanical environment.

Basic understanding/Knowledge of rotating equipment about pumps motors gearboxes etc.

Ability to read/understand equipment SPEC sheets and process diagrams preferred

Performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Work Order (WO) repairs inspections and adjustments

Proficiency with Microsoft office computer software MUST HAVE basic data input on a computer.

Strong communication skills written and verbal are key

Enter work order information check out parts and notify admins if stock levels are low in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Working Conditions:

Able to climb ladders and work at elevations.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Comfortable working in a high paced production environmen.
