Multiple Roles: System Engineer/ Software Engineering / Engineering Technicians / Computer Aided Design Specialists
Background and Purpose -WisEngineering is assembling a team of skilled and motivated Systems Engineers Software Engineers and Engineering Technicians who will be supporting the U.S. Army. Successful candidates will provide critical engineering software and technical support for the development modernization and sustainment of advanced military weapons systems. You will be part of a collaborative Integrated Product Team (IPT) working on high-priority defense platforms. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the diagnostic capabilities software and hardware of systems like the M1 Abrams Bradley Fighting Vehicle Paladin Stryker and CROWS. General Requirements and Responsibilities- Hardware & Software Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose analyze and determine the root cause of hardware and software failures on items returned from the field.
- Assist in isolating failures between the Unit Under Test (UUT) Test Program Sets (TPS) and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
- Support the repair and validation of non-functioning hardware software and diagnostic kits.
We encourage you to apply if your experience and skills are within the following areas: System Development & Integration:- Support the development design and fabrication of new hardware and software related to TPS.
- Assist in the design assembly and testing of prototype test hardware for various vehicle systems.
- Develop and update diagnostics software for multiple vehicle platforms including Diagnostics and System Health (DASH) software.
- Design analyze and test complex electrical circuits for motion control systems including creating interfaces for motors drives and feedback mechanisms.
Engineering & Configuration Management:- Evaluate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and trouble reports to determine their impact on diagnostics TPS and Technical Data Packages (TDP).
- Support the creation and review of engineering documents including specifications flow charts drawings and parts lists.
- Utilize and maintain project information within configuration management tools like Team Forge and CM PRO.
