Job Description

A global intralogistics manufacturer experiencing strong local growth is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer to join in NSW. With a well-established international reputation and a local manufacturing presence (VIC) this business delivers high-performance conveyor sortation and storage solutions across warehousing distribution and supply chain sectors.

This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated technical sales professional with a strong background in conveyor systems to help shape the future of automated materials handling in Australia.

Your Role:

Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be responsible for identifying opportunities developing system concepts and driving sales outcomes across carton and pallet handling projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and attend key events and conferences
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers integrators engineers and reseller partners
  • Develop modular conveyor system concepts tailored to throughput specification and site requirements
  • Prepare tenders technical proposals and commercial documentation
  • Negotiate contracts and manage handover to the project delivery team
  • Provide ongoing customer support and technical guidance
  • Manage pipeline activity to meet sales and growth targets
Skills and Experience:
  • 5 years experience in technical sales within materials handling or warehouse automation
  • Proven success selling carton conveyors pallet conveyors and sortation systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand and develop system layouts
  • Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills
  • Self-driven organised and confident working both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic AutoCAD skills are highly regarded
  • A current drivers licence is required
  • Can do attitude and the ability to perform while working remotely
  • We would also consider candidates from a related area such as Systems Integrators and other OEMs
