Job Description

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant cum Purchase Executive to manage both financial records and procurement operations. This dual-role position requires a professional who can handle day-to-day accounting tasks while also managing the end-to-end purchasing process from sourcing suppliers to ensuring timely delivery and payment. The ideal candidate is organized analytical and capable of multitasking effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  • Prepare and post journal entries invoices and expense reports.

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Purchase & Procurement Duties:

  • Source and evaluate vendors and negotiate pricing and terms.

  • Create and manage purchase orders and track order status.

  • Ensure timely procurement of materials products and services.

  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store/warehouse for stock requirements.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.

  • Ensure all purchases are aligned with company budgets and procurement policies.



Requirements

Experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role
Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. Tally ERP)
Knowledge of sourcing purchasing processes and vendor negotiation
Ability to create and manage purchase orders maintain purchase records and monitor stock levels
Understanding of inventory control and supply chain basics.
Manage financial records prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with legal regulations. Analyze financial data to assist in decision-making. Provide advice on tax planning and savings opportunities.
