Your role as Assistant Management Accountant
- Ensure integrity of PPE and IFRS16 accounting through accurate period end processes
- Ensure that all journals are well documented and understood before posting
- Management of balance sheet account reconciliations and identifying and correcting any anomalies in the accounts
- Working with the auditors and finance teams to ensure we are audit-compliant
- Identify areas of continual improvement especially around process automation and reporting standardisation that can save time and improve awareness
- Supporting Corporate Finance External Reporting team with periodic and quarterly reporting statutory account submissions or any other processes as required

Qualifications
- Ability to understand basic/intermediate accounting principles
- Analytical skills able to use multiple sources of data to support decision making
- Experienced with finance and ERP software together with a strong knowledge of reporting tools
- Excel and IT literate
- Accounting background either within a shared services function or a finance function
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Studying towards an ACA or ACCA qualification
