About the Role

Join one of the worlds most recognised hospitality brands as a Payroll Officer supporting the Hilton Melbourne Finance Cluster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional seeking flexibility stability and the chance to work with a high-performing and supportive team.


You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services as part of a cluster role supporting three premium Hilton hotels. This is a permanent part-time position ideally commencing on 1st September. Working 3 days per week (primarily Monday to Wednesday) this role is well suited to someone with strong payroll experience and exceptional attention to detail.

What will I be doing

  • End-to-end payroll processing using MicrOpay and UKG Dimensions
  • Calculation and submission of superannuation PAYG payroll tax and other statutory payments
  • Preparation of payroll journals reports and reconciliations
  • Lodgement of Single Touch Payroll (STP) to the ATO
  • Coordinating leave entitlements and termination calculations
  • Maintaining compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies
  • Responding to payroll queries and liaising hotel teams
  • Indexing and archiving payroll records for audit and compliance purposes


What are we looking for

  • Minimum 2 years end-to-end payroll experience preferably in a high-volume or multi-site environment
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
  • Experience with MicrOpay and/or UKG Dimensions highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of the HIGA would be highly advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
