VHIR offers vacant position for a Study Coordinator for a clinical trial within the Diabetes and Metabolism Research Group.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Sciences or Nursing
- Additional training in Clinical Trials
- Fluency in Catalan Spanish and English (business level)
Desired:
- PhD or masters degree
- Additional training in data management databases and statistics
- Additional training in clinical management of obesity
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 1 year of experience working in clinical trials
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- Ability to coordinate clinical trials
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Desired:
- Knowledge of how to manage patients retention during clinical trials
- Ability to obtain process and manage the blood samples and study-related procedures
- Ability to maintain and organize the timetable of the multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of e-CRF and management of clinical data related to clinical trials
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordinate Clinical trials in obesity.
- Give support to the study nurses and other study coordinators.
- Collaborate with the medical team and study coordinators from other departments that might be involved in the trial.
- Prepare/Organize the clinical trial at our site.
- Analyze clinical data resulted from the study.
- Keep track of patients and biological samples and study related procedures.
Labour conditions:
- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: August 2025
- Gross annual salary: 29.00000 euros (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale. Possibility for incentives according to objectives)
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
