DescriptionOptimal on behalf of its client a leading banking institution is looking for an Operational Risk Manager.
What you will focus on
- Provide advisory support on Outsourcing/Third-Party Risk Management including policies standards procedures methodologies and the use of relevant information systems.
- Maintain a network with risk management professionals across the industry to ensure alignment with best practices in third-party risk management.
- Oversee compliance risk related to outsourcing regulations at a Group level including adherence to EBA EU directives and Central Bank guidelines.
- Design and supervise the implementation of the Outsourcing Risk Management Program in collaboration with relevant Units covering policies procedures risk assessment BCP plans and exit strategies.
- Monitor and document all operational risk events related to outsourcing and track action plans and mitigation efforts.
- Review third-party risk assessments including due diligence BCP/Exit Plans and SLAs/contract terms.
- Collaborate with business units and subsidiaries to provide guidance on identifying assessing monitoring and mitigating outsourcing risks.
- Support the development of a third-party risk measurement program using KRIs and ensure alignment with the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF).
- Prepare reports and present risk levels associated with third-party arrangements.
- Promote risk awareness through training and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the Group and with external providers.
What we are looking for
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Finance Accounting Computer Science IT or Engineering
- Masters degree in any of the above fields or in Risk Management/Internal Audit is highly desirable
- At least 5 years of experience in Procurement or Risk Management within a Banking/Financial Institution or a Consulting Firm
- Strong Project Management & Risk Management skills
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing and Technology Risk is considered a plus
- Excellent command of English
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and projects
- Excellent analytical critical and conceptual thinking skills
