Job Description

District Manager (Commercial Cleaning Operations)

Long Island NY

Full Time

SUMMARY

Plan direct and coordinate field operations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies managing daily operations and planning the use of materials and human resources within the assigned district.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • The District Manager will be responsible for visiting client sites in Nassau and Suffolk counties all the way out to eastern Long Island/East Hampton
  • Establish working relationships with Clients
  • Perform periodic location inspections (minimum of 1x month).
  • Report Inspection findings/issues.
  • Resolve deficiencies within SLA timeframe.
  • Perform walk-thrus/estimates with prospective Clients.
  • Screen Hire Onboard and Manager Custodial Technicians.
  • Train Custodial Technicians.
  • Setup new accounts and Train staff with Clocking In/Out.
  • Monitoring employee time and attendance.
  • Manage daily staffing schedules and adjust accordingly to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Conduct weekly payroll.
  • Report accidents/injury.
  • Address and resolve any employee performance issues.
  • Notify HR/Payroll and Operations of ALL staffing changes.
  • On-Call for Emergency situations/calls - evenings and weekends.
  • Create Supply Orders.
  • Submit service requests to office.

Managing Staff:

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Commercial cleaning industry a plus.
  • Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
  • Detail oriented and strong communication skills (email phone).
  • Results oriented: the ability to resolve challenges and emergencies at a moments notice.
  • Multi task oriented: The ability to handle multiple projects at a time.
  • Customer focused with a can-do approach to problem solving.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Working Knowledge of email spreadsheets smartphone and relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.

OTHER JOB DUTIES

All other tasks as assigned by management.
