The Need

The Manager Business Operations Adoption and Enablement will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of new systems processes and operational improvements across the organization. This role will lead the development and execution of change management strategies training plans and hands-on content creation for strategic business operations initiatives with a focus on user adoption and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a clear communicator a strategic thinker and a detail-oriented practitioner who can simplify complex operational topics for global internal audiences. They must bring strong knowledge of business operations or finance paired with a deep understanding of adult learning and change management principles.

This position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) if located in the Washington DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It reports to Vice President Global Business Operations and is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Change Management Strategy & Execution

  • Create change management deliverables for key operational projects and process rollouts (plans and content/materials related to communications sponsorship coaching training and resistance management.)

  • Identify change impacts and adoption risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.

  • Serve as a change liaison between project teams and end-users to ensure readiness and smooth transitions.

  • Provide strategic input to any formalized training plans that might be rolled out in the future

Training Design & Delivery

  • Create engaging intuitive training experiences tailored for internal stakeholders across diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

  • Develop and deliver onboarding live training sessions workshops and e-learning modules related to new processes and system improvements.

  • Develop materials/content for functional leaders to deliver to their stakeholders (train the trainer)

  • Apply adult learning principles and feedback loops to improve learning effectiveness.

Communication & Content Development

  • Translate complex operational or financial concepts into simple user-friendly content (e.g. quick guides toolkits FAQs manuals videos).

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and project managers to produce high-impact training and communications material.

  • Ensure that learning resources are globally accessible up-to-date and consistent with organizational tone and style.

Continuous Improvement & Metrics

  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of change initiatives and training interventions through surveys KPIs and feedback mechanisms.

  • Drive continuous improvement in training content and change engagement methods.

  • Develop dashboards/reports for executives and managers to monitor adoption/usage over the long term

  • User Adoption: Successful uptake and compliance with new business processes and tools.

  • Training Impact: High learner satisfaction engagement and retention of key concepts.

  • Change Readiness: Demonstrated preparedness and low resistance to major operational changes.

  • Content Quality: Clear concise and accurate training and reference materials with minimal rework or confusion.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Positive feedback from internal teams on collaboration and communication effectiveness.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management Training and Adoption or a related field; or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in training and adoption for business operations functions or a related role

  • Proven experience in developing training and change strategies as well as content creation and who excels on simplifying complex and technical topics and translating them into intuitive and user-friendly resources.

  • Proven experience in business operations finance or related operational domains.

  • Strong background in adult learning techniques and change management approaches

  • Familiarity with LMS platforms e-learning tools (Articulate Captivate etc.) and collaboration platforms (e.g. SharePoint).

  • Basic proficiency in data visualization performance reporting tools or animation is a plus but not required.
