Job Description
Location: Iowa City IA
Shift Schedule: 7 AM-3PM or 9AM-5PM Mon-Fri 40 hrs a week. Optional On call & Call Back at night.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
Certifications: MUST have a current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS)
Equipment used: Siemens 128 Slice and Cannon/Toshiba 320 Slice
Volume: 20 and 25 scans per shift
Annual Salary: $120000/-

Responsibilities:
- Perform computed tomography (CT) scans on patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain necessary patient information and ensure proper diagnostic results.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation of procedures.
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and standards in the performance of duties.
- Keep abreast of advancements in CT technology and participate in ongoing education and training.
