Job title: Okta Implementation Specialist
Location: Alameda CA (Hybrid) (need only Locals)

Job Duties:
- Implementation of Okta integrations (SAML OIDC etc)
- Okta Administration and Configuration
- Troubleshooting and providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for Okta IAM solutions with application owners and end users.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance on Okta best practices security standards and compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR HIPAA SOC 2).
- Configure advanced policies for SSO MFA contextual access and risk-based authentication.
- Monitor system health resolve issues and optimize Okta performance and reliability.
- Evaluate new IAM technologies to enhance the Okta ecosystem and improve security posture.
- Developing and maintaining documentation including architecture diagrams configuration guides and operational procedures.
- Perform feasibility analyses and provide recommendations for future system enhancements.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers on Okta implementation IAM best practices and secure design principles.
Off Hours / Weekend Work:
Work may include the occasional after-hours and/or weekend work based on mission priorities.
Required Qualifications:
- Okta Certification: Professional Administrator Consultant or Technical Architect
Minimum Experience:
- Ten (10) years relevant experience of Okta Integrations: Single Sign-On (SSO) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and privileged access management.
- Five (5) years of experience in developing Okta Workflows
- Five (5) years of experience in IGA and a minimum of Two (2) years of experience in Okta IGA
- Experience with other IAM solutions beyond Okta
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices (AWS Azure etc.)
- Deep understanding of identity federation protocols such as SAML OAuth SCIM and OpenID Connect.
- Hands-on experience with Okta API integrations and System Administration
