As part of our separation from our parent company Medtronic we are building a standalone organization with leaders to enable strategic growth and operational excellence (link to press release Medtronic Diabetes intent to separate). To that end we are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President Global Infrastructure Technology and Ops to lead the establishment transition and operation of a future fit infrastructure landscape and drive the technology enablement of core business functions.

Job Summary:
TheVice President Global Infrastructure Technology and Ops will be responsible for leading and evolving the companys global technology infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability scalability and security of our IT operations spanning cloud and data centers networks digital workplace services service desk operations and collaboration platforms. The VP will drive strategic modernization efforts operational excellence and continuous improvement to support business growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology and Infrastructure Operations Leadership
Oversee globalcloud and data center operations ensuring high availability performance and security.
Leadnetwork strategy and operations covering both corporate and manufacturing environments.
Managedigital workplace services including endpoint management identity and access management and user productivity tools.
Ensure world-classservice desk and IT supportcapabilities focusing on user experience automation and efficiency.
Own thecollaboration and communication platforms ensuring seamless global connectivity and productivity.
Strategic Leadership and Optimization
Develop and execute a roadmap forinfrastructure modernization aligning with business objectives and emerging technologies.
Drivecost efficiencies and performance improvements leveraging cloud optimization automation and best practices.
Optimizehybrid infrastructure strategies balancing on-premises and cloud capabilities.
Partner with security and compliance teams to maintainbest-in-class security risk and compliance postures across infrastructure.
Leadbusiness continuity and disaster recovery planning ensuring resilience in critical systems and operations.
Operational Excellence & Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performingglobal infrastructure and operations team fostering collaboration and innovation.
Establish and maintainkey performance metrics (KPIs)for service quality system reliability and user experience.
Ensure ITSM (IT Service Management)best practices leveraging automation and AI-driven capabilities for service improvement.
Overseevendor and partner management ensuring alignment with business needs and maximizing value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely withbusiness units IT leadership and functional leadersto ensure technology aligns with business goals.
Collaborate withCISO and security teamsto implement and enforce security best practices.
Partner withenterprise architecture and applications teamsto support ERP Finance HR and other critical business systems.
Engage withfinance and procurementto optimize IT spend contracts and resource allocation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
15 years of experience intechnology infrastructure leadership including cloud data centers networks and IT service management.
Proven track record of leadinglarge-scale IT operations including global teams and vendor ecosystems.
Strong expertise incloud (AWS Azure GCP) hybrid IT network security and ITIL service management.
Experience supportingmanufacturing environmentsand their unique IT infrastructure needs is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to driveIT transformation and operational excellencein a fast-paced evolving environment.
Strong executive presence with the ability tocommunicate complex technical topics to senior leadership.
