Senior Designer - Casting
Job Summary
The Senior Designer in Casting plays a pivotal role in creating high-quality designs that align with project objectives and customer needs. This position requires collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure innovative and practical design solutions are achieved ultimately driving the success of product development initiatives.
(1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Gather And Refine Design Requirements Using Cad Software Ensuring That All Designs Meet Customer Specifications And Project Vision.
2. Develop Prototypes And Proof-Of-Concept Implementations Utilizing Casting Techniques To Validate Design Decisions And Functionality.
3. Mentor And Guide Junior Designers By Sharing Best Practices In Casting Design Enhancing Their Skills Through Training Sessions And Comprehensive Documentation.
4. Work With Cross-Functional Teams Including Engineering And Manufacturing To Integrate Casting Design With Overall Project Goals And Ensure Feasibility.
5. Collaborate With Quality Assurance Teams To Establish And Uphold Quality Standards In Casting Processes Ensuring That All Designs Meet High-Performance Criteria.Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Casting Processes And Techniques.
2. Proficiency In Cad Software For Product Design And Prototype Development.
3. Good Knowledge Of Design Principles And Methodologies.
4. Familiarity With Quality Assurance Practices In Design And Manufacturing.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Solidworks Professional (Cswp) Autodesk Certified Professional.
