Job Description
At St Austell Brewery we operate multiple distribution sites across the Southwest supporting a robust logistics network that enables us to deliver a responsive and reliable service to our customers business partners and managers.

Were looking for a Depot Manager to take the lead at our Cornwall Distribution Centre in St. Columb.
In this pivotal role youll be responsible for motivating and directing our Warehouse and Transport teams to deliver outstanding results in efficiency profitability and customer service. Youll drive continuous improvement and identify growth opportunities while keeping employee wellbeing at the forefrontfostering a motivated engaged and high-performing team. Developing your people to reach their full potential will be central to your success alongside a strong commitment to upholding exceptional health and safety standards.
About you
- A strong understanding of Health and Safety and an IOSH qualification.
- Proven experience in managing fleet compliance including handling infringements controlling driver costs ensuring schedule adherence achieving on-time deliveries and maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Take a hands-on leadership approach to oversee both warehouse and transport operations ensuring full compliance strong performance and effective management of key warehouse and distribution metrics.
- Promote open communication strong team engagement and a continuous improvement mindset across both warehouse and transport functions with a consistent focus on reviewing and refining operational processes. Including the ability and desire to work cross-functionally across all departments
- Collaborate with the senior management team to ensure operations are both cost-effective and efficiently resourced optimising performance in alignment with established KPIs.
- As Depot Manager you will take the leading role across both teams you will be responsible for all aspects of Safety Staff Goods in transport warehousing budget and reporting.
