A college degree in a related human service field. Prior experience working in an ICF setting is preferred. Must have excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel Access PowerPoint and Word). Valid North Carolina drivers license required.
Essential Job Functions:
Resident Care & Compliance
1. Assure that all needs for each resident are met promptly as referenced in ICF regulations
2. Assure compliance with all ICF standards for all consumers of residential services
3. Attend all IPP BRM and all other related meetings for all ICF residents
4. Regularly review and ensure all ICF records are accurate and up to date
5. Schedule ISP and send annual consents
6. Complete and mail out activity calendars
7. Conduct regular monitoring of activities and trips for ICF/CR
8. Monitor cameras
9. Coordinate services with other community organizations/agencies
10. Meet with QP weekly
II. Documentation & Administrative Responsibilities
11. Responsible for collecting and uploading Treatment Team notes
12. Plan coordinate and facilitate Parent Forum meetings
13. Respond to all communication on time
14. Attend management team meetings
15. Perform other related duties as required
III. Team & Family Collaboration
16. Develop positive working relationships with families/guardians as needed for residents in the ICF program
17. Develop positive working relationships with all ICF staff
IV. Program Oversight & Participation
19. Attend meetings and participate in TLCDD committees as assigned
V. Recruitment Standards / Skills
20. Ability to work well with other agencies in the community
21. Thorough knowledge of human development its theories practices and techniques
22. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with Center personnel parents and the public
23. Ability to accept innovative ideas and incorporate them into the residential program
24. Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form
25. Must have a valid North Carolina drivers license and be insurable by the Centers liability insurance carrier
VI. Documentation Training
26. Help staff learn how to accurately and consistently document service notes incident reports and data tracking.
27. Review documentation for errors or trends and provide coaching as needed.
VII. Hours/Days of Work: M-F 8:00a-5:00p
Weeknights/weekends may be necessary
