Overview

The EPMO Program Manager is an influential change leader for the EPMO the Organization patients and will lead large complex executive facing cross-functional initiatives to include strategic programs that encompass a collection of will actively lead mentor and engage teams at all levels of the organization as well as drive accountability in problem solving efforts and mitigation plans to achieve a successful well-informed a combination of project management and improvement methodologies including but not limited to: Lean Six Sigma PMI and EPMO Program Manager is adept at leading project teams with consultation education and coaching and a keen bias towards collaboration and up and down and across the organization is essential in project/program management as the EPMO Program Manager will be an expert at this and be able to tailor the communication whether email dialogue or presentation based on the EPMO Program Manager will be instrumental in connecting the dots between organizational priorities established via Strategy Pillars Finance Operations and Clinical departments as well as the myriad of action items and inter-dependencies across impacted stakeholder groups project and program dependencies all in an effort to enhance the patient experience and deliver an initiative within scope schedule and are a catalyst to transformational change by asking questions saying whats not being said breaking down siloes collaborating with an eye towards accountability and building bridges.

This is an on-site position sitting in the Facilities Office Building at CMH.

If you are selected for this position you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Responsibilities

Program Project Management:

How work is completed:

Supports enterprise-level initiatives through independently planning scoping leading facilitating and implementing mid to high-complexity programs/projects within defined boundaries and timeframes which contribute to Organizational strategic and operational priorities

Proactively organizes and completes work in project plans/schedules using appropriate project management tools templates and methodologies for the project/program at hand.

Proactively identifies and communicates project delays and risks;Drives the development of mitigation plans to avoid project delays and realized risks; including identification of key resources needed and organizational constraints.

Understands critical path and critical dependencies (successors and predecessors) within a program/project plan and is adept at developing and executing mitigation plans to keep a project on track.

Able to calculate project cost/ROI; Work with Finance and other members of the organization in assessing tracking and reporting the financial benefit and outcomes of projects.

Proactively manages expectations and expertly navigates roadblocks in the project lifecycle from pre-kick-off to post-go-live to all levels off staff engaged in delivering a successful program/project.

Facilitates current/future state assessment/process mapping sessions stewardship analyses problem solving/brainstorming discussions project training/education needs using relevant tools and techniques.

Lead program/project requirements solicitation sessions using various methods including but not limited to interviews/VOC (voice of customer) document analysis requirements-gathering workshops surveys site visits business process descriptions and uses case scenarios.

Oversee and proactively guide testing efforts to ensure high quality deliverables are effectively implemented and controlled based on user and system requirements.

Establishes and maintains project momentum both in meetings and between meetings

Remain current in salient program/project management approaches tools processes

Participate in continuous process improvement ideas to enhance the EPMO processes and tools.

Keep project information and metrics current to enable accurate dashboards and effectively measure progress and quality.

Drive a team of colleagues business analysts and align subject matter experts to design and implement optimal solutions that meet business needs and long-term objectives through effective and clear delegation.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree MBA or MHA or Strategic Planning or Project Mgmt preferred and 3-5 years experience OR
  • Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience OR
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 15 or more years of experience
