About this Position:
Job Title: UX Project Manager / Design Program Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Project Lifecycle Management: Direct the full lifecycle of design projects managing timelines and deliverables for user research service design workshops interactive prototyping and iterative user testing.
- Agile Process Integration: Collaborate with Product Managers and development teams to define and prioritize product backlogs facilitate sprint planning for design tasks and manage rapid iteration cycles.
- Stakeholder Facilitation: Plan and facilitate design thinking and co-creation workshops with stakeholders to set clear goals and align on the vision for intuitive and inclusive user interfaces.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure seamless collaboration between UI/UX designers and developers to confirm design feasibility and implementation accuracy.
- Standards & Compliance: Enforce and track compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) throughout the design process.
- Development Handoff: Oversee the creation and handoff of high-fidelity designs ensuring they are complete documented and ready for development.
Technical Skills and Methodologies:
- Methodologies: Human-Centered Design Design Thinking Service Design Agile Product Management.
- Core Competencies: Stakeholder Management User Feedback Loops Sprint Planning and Retrospectives Requirements Definition.
- Technical Standards: Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
