Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager Pharmaceutical / Digital Product Solutions
Location: Titusville NJ
Work Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Job Type: Contract (1 year)
Rate: $70/hr C2C OR 1099 (Target; flexible for the right candidate)
Notes:
- Must be local to NJ/NY area and able to commute onsite 3 days/week
- No relocation accepted
- Video interview required
- Strong communication skills (8/10 or better) required as the role is client-facing and involves interaction with C-level stakeholders
- Must provide State-issued ID (not utility bills) as proof of local status
- Candidates with long project tenure and stable work history will be prioritized
- Recent pharmaceutical experience must be reflected in the latest project on the resume

Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to support the Patient Engagement & Customer Solutions (PECS) team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a strong understanding of digital product solutions and platforms. This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating multiple digital initiatives that enhance patient engagement and streamline customer solutions.
The Project Manager will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external vendor partners (e.g. Deloitte) drive strategic planning and execution monitor critical project milestones and manage risks to ensure timely delivery of digital solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional digital projects supporting the Patient Engagement & Customer Solutions group.
- Manage and coordinate all workstreams related to digital product solutions-from strategy development through execution.
- Collaborate with external consulting partners (e.g. Deloitte) and internal stakeholders to define scope goals and deliverables.
- Identify track and communicate project risks critical path items and dependencies to ensure smooth delivery and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans schedules resource allocation and status reports using appropriate project management tools.
- Ensure adherence to compliance privacy and regulatory standards applicable to digital solutions in the pharma domain.
- Provide clear communication and updates to leadership including project status roadblocks and mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement across project management practices and tools within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science Life Sciences or related field (Masters preferred).
- PMP certification required.
- 10 years of project management experience with a focus on digital projects within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendor relationships.
- Solid understanding of patient engagement technologies digital platforms and regulated environments.
- Strong organizational problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project JIRA Smartsheet Confluence).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience working within large matrixed organizations.
- Understanding of compliance and data privacy within pharmaceutical digital solutions.
- Prior experience supporting digital transformation initiatives at a top-tier pharma company.
