This is a remote position.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Management VA (Leasing & Resident Relations Coordinator) to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized individual with a strong background in residential leasing tenant relations and administrative support. This role is crucial in ensuring high occupancy rates fostering positive resident experiences and maintaining efficient property operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full leasing cycle including property marketing conducting showings screening prospective tenants and preparing all leasing documentation.
Proactively manage lease renewals including communicating with residents negotiating terms and preparing renewal agreements to maximize resident retention.
Serve as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries and concerns fostering positive tenant relations and implementing retention strategies.
Oversee rent collection processes address late payments and initiate eviction procedures when necessary ensuring compliance with all legal guidelines.
Provide comprehensive administrative support for daily property operations including maintaining accurate resident files and property records.
Assist the Property Manager with various tasks contributing to the smooth and efficient functioning of the property.
Ensure all leasing and resident relations activities adhere to fair housing laws company policies and local regulations.
Contribute to community-building initiatives and events to enhance the resident experience and foster a strong sense of community.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of working experience in property management with a strong focus on leasing and resident relations.
Demonstrated knowledge of the full leasing cycle from marketing to move-in.
Experience with rent collection and understanding of eviction processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in property management software (e.g. Yardi AppFolio RealPage) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-service oriented with a positive and proactive attitude.
Quiet home office work environment.
Willing to work on the graveyard shift.
Fast and reliable internet connection of at least 20MBPS with internet backup available.
Dependable electricity with power backup available.
At least 8-gen i3 processors 8GB RAM and Windows or MAC SSD Disc.
