Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance process for Web and Progressive Web Applications (PWA) in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in functional regression and end-to-end testing of insurance applications as well as a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the QA strategy planning execution and delivery of web and PWA applications
Collaborate with business analysts developers and product owners to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies
Design and review test cases for functional regression integration and UI testing
Ensure coverage of domain-specific scenarios related to consumer warranty insurance policy administration claims underwriting billing and customer portals
Coordinate test planning execution defect tracking and closure
Manage a team of QA engineers ensuring proper task allocation support and mentoring
Provide QA status updates metrics and quality indicators during sprint reviews and release planning
Work closely with developers to perform root cause analysis and resolve issues
Contribute to the test automation strategy and review automation coverage for regression cycles
Ensure testing aligns with compliance and data privacy requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
6 10 years of QA experience with at least 2 years in a QA Lead role
Strong experience in Web and PWA application testing
Good understanding of Property & Casualty insurance workflows (e.g. consumer warranty insurance policy lifecycle claims billing)
Have experience in multiple device and browser testing.
Proficient in writing test plans test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements
Experience with test management tools like Jira TestRail Zephyr or similar
Solid experience in defect tracking root cause analysis and test closure reporting
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and participation in sprint ceremonies
Basic understanding of front-end technologies for effective collaboration (HTML CSS browser dev tools)
Exposure to test automation tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress) is a plus
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of P&C domain
Experience in API testing using Postman Swagger or similar tools
Knowledge of performance or security testing tools is a plus
ISTQB or other QA certifications
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask prioritize and handle time-sensitive deliverables
Team player and proactive leader with a quality-first mindset

Experienced with industry-leading tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Nessus, Sophos, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Adept at investigating phishing threats, building insightful Power BI dashboards, and automating security workflows using Logic Apps, Power Automate, and scripting in Python, PowerShell, and Batch. Certified in SC-200, AZ-500, and CEH with a hands-on approach to improving organizational security posture. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Vulnerability Management: o Conduct regular vulnerability scans using Nessus, analyse results, and coordinate remediation plans with infrastructure and application teams. o Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and business impact using CVSS scoring and asset criticality. Security Incident Response: o Investigate and respond to incidents using Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, including log correlation, alert triage, and threat hunting. o Prepare detailed incident reports and support recovery and post-incident analysis. Phishing Analysis & Email Threat Defense: o Analyze reported phishing emails, extract indicators of compromise, and respond using Microsoft security tools and threat intelligence sources. Endpoint Security: o Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint security using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. o Respond to endpoint threats, isolate machines, and investigate behavioral anomalies. Microsoft 365 Security: o Support O365 security operations including MFA configuration, mailbox auditing, and role-based access management. Nice to Have Security Dashboards & Reporting: o Design and manage Power BI dashboards to visualize key security metrics, alert trends, and vulnerability status for stakeholders. Security Automation & Scripting: o Build and maintain automated response workflows using Azure Logic Apps and Power Automate for incident enrichment, ticketing, and notifications. o Develop security automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and Batch for data parsing, log analysis, and custom tool integrations
