Context:
The CIAM squad (Customer Identification & Access Management) is looking for a Test Team Leaderfor his brand-new PING platform in Euroclear.
In order to improve the user experience Euroclear has launched the CIAM project. Euroclear wants to provide their clients and interacting parties (5000 clients) with modern security solutions to manage efficiently users identification and authorizationto their applications and services. Euroclear wants to offer various capabilities for secured Identity and Access management: Smart Card Federation Fingerprints FaceID SSO etc It is a strategic project for business growth and digital modernization.
Euroclear aims to deploy one single solution to replace all the existing CIAM-applications across different entities of the group. Euroclear is designing a new solution from scratch then Test Strategy is key.
Job family:
- Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements:
- Drafts revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy
- Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow
- Coordinates with users to plan user acceptance testing alpha and beta testing
- Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved
- Contribute to or manage the deployment preparation and execution for both Pre-Production and Production until the end of the warranty period
General Description:
- Leads testing in a complex environment or for one or more standard to larger projects
- Manages the preparation of systems and/or applications deployment. May manage the deployment.
- Is responsible for formulating the test and deployment strategy for own area and plans and leads work to ensure the delivery of the product within quality standards.
- May lead team / project / resources for a project. Is the main reference point for problem escalation and is expected to plan and monitor the work of the team as well as externals vendors.
- Has recognized expertise / authority in testing
Role:
- Typically requires project management organizational and people leadership skills as well as being a recognized expert in testing. Uses these competencies:
- to formulate the test strategy including deployment approach for one or more standard to larger projects
- to specify and plan the corresponding activities and lead their execution being the main reference point for problem escalation
- to ensure that testing is carried out within budget and established procedures meeting the project testing objectives within quality time and budget targets
- to analyze and monitor risks in the area of testing identifying their potential consequences and taking the appropriate actions to avoid that they materialize into issues
- Validates the product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are suitable for the testing activity are unambiguous and are verifiable.
- Leads guides and monitors the analysis design implementation and execution of the test cases test procedures and/or test suites.
- Schedules the tests for execution and then monitors measures controls and reports on the test progress the product quality status and the test results adapting the test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
- Produces a summary test report at the end of the project.
- May manage the deployment (consolidate release scenario collect authorizations coordinate change delivery and support operations right after deployment).
- Work requires the consideration of future implications beyond the immediate problems and may involve the creation of new approaches and procedures to structurally solve them; Provides feedback and development input into quality assurance processes/ methodologies and risk management strategy.
- Works with a high level of autonomy with performance and achievements being subject to managerial review.
- The job requires highly developed skills to motivate inspire and persuade in the context of frequent interactions with a large and heterogeneous set of stakeholders.
- Has a direct contributory impact on the quality and stability of non-stop applications and systems hence avoiding disruption to mission critical services and maintaining a clear competitive advantage for the company.
- Works and communicates with other stakeholders and vendors to ensure an effective quality assurance process is maintained and developed in the organization.
- May coach other testers into this role. May supervise development & assess performance of Test Analysts.
- Euroclear specificities: The role may cover new or updated business applications testing; new or updated system infrastructure testing
Technical Skills:
- Experience in designing Test Strategies in a distributed environment.
- Experienced in Identification and Authentication Management (IAM)
- Experience in Testing solutions with Microsoft technologies (Cloud and on Prem).
- Experience infull software life cycles with multiple applications
- Ability to operate in a changing environment and to participate to the change.
