Title: Talend Developer
Location: Columbus OH (Open to Remote)
Duration: Long-term Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Developer with deep expertise in data integration and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills in Python Talend SQL PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting along with a solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts. This role is critical in designing and implementing robust scalable data solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- ETL Design & Development
- Design and implement efficient data integration solutions using Talend ETL.
- Administer Talend Administration Center to ensure optimal system performance.
- Scripting & Automation
- Develop and optimize Python and SQL scripts to enhance data processing.
- Use Unix Shell Scripting to automate routine data operations.
- Leverage External Scheduler tools to streamline and automate workflows.
- Data Architecture & Warehousing
- Apply Data Warehousing concepts to build scalable and efficient architectures.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation.
- Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on ETL and integration best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Process Improvement & Documentation
- Continuously improve data integration methodologies and processes.
- Document all data integration workflows and solutions for compliance and future reference.
