This is a remote position.
We are looking for an ambitious and seasoned Senior Sales Executive with a strong background in government sales particularly within state and federal contracting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience navigating government procurement processes building relationships with key stakeholders and driving revenue in this space.
In this role you will be responsible for securing new business opportunities managing a pipeline of prospects and leveraging BoozDNA s capabilities to meet the unique needs of government agencies. You will work closely with our technical and project management teams to craft tailored solutions that align with government priorities and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Drive sales growth by identifying pursuing and closing state and federal government contracts.
Government Procurement Knowledge: Navigate federal state and local government contracting processes including RFPs RFQs and other procurement vehicles.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within government agencies.
Sales Strategy: Create and implement a sales strategy focused on long-term growth within the government sector.
Proposal Support: Collaborate with BoozDNA s technical team to create compelling proposals and respond to RFPs in a timely and professional manner.
Pipeline Management: Maintain an active pipeline of government contract opportunities and meet or exceed sales targets.
Market Expertise: Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the government IT space to position BoozDNA as a thought leader.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in government contracting with a focus on IT services and solutions (state federal or local government).
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate the government procurement process and win government contracts.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of government IT requirements compliance standards and procurement processes.
Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation presentation and communication skills.
Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and contractors.
Technical Understanding: Familiarity with IT services and solutions with an ability to translate technical offerings into value propositions for government customers.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Business IT or related field (preferred).
Location: Preferred candidates based in California or open to remote work with occasional travel.
