Job Description

Be part of our client s team as an Operations Manager and take charge of leading their Colombia operations. You will oversee call center and administrative functions align local execution with global strategies and ensure high-performance outcomes tailored to the Colombian market s unique needs.

Job Overview

Employment type: Indefinite term type contract
Shift: Monday to Friday 8 AM 5 PM EAST
Work setup: Onsite Bogot and Medell n

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Colombia operations including call center performance administrative functions HR coordination and regulatory compliance
  • Align local operations with global strategies goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Optimize daily workflows and team performance to ensure high-quality service and operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement country-specific policies procedures and strategic operational plans
  • Monitor performance using data-driven KPIs and drive continuous improvements
  • Lead recruitment training and development of local teams including department managers and call center leaders
  • Ensure compliance with Colombian labor laws data privacy regulations and international standards (e.g. HIPAA TCPA)
  • Manage budgets conduct financial forecasting control costs and oversee local financial reporting
  • Build and nurture relationships with vendors regulatory agencies and local business partners
  • Implement corporate systems technologies and process improvements at the local level
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to support business continuity
  • Represent the company professionally in Colombia and uphold its reputation
  • Collaborate with global departments such as HR and IT to ensure aligned and seamless support


Requirements

Qualifications Needed

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Operations Management or a related field
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (required)
  • At least 7 years of experience in operations or general management preferably with regional exposure in Colombia or Latin America
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement complex initiatives
  • Strong understanding of local labor regulations and operational compliance standards
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid financial and analytical skills
  • Experience in scaling operations and applying industry best practices
