Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast affordable broadband to a wide range of customers including consumers businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

As a Systems Technical Program Manager (TPM) on the Kuiper Enterprise Service Delivery team you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing satellite connectivity solutions. Your primary focus will be supporting proof of concepts demonstrations and technical trials both at Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) and directly at customer sites. Working closely with partners and system integrators youll help deploy and validate our LEO satellite solutions while providing best practices and resolving critical escalations. Youll be an integral part of a dynamic team that builds vertical solutions leveraging both the Kuiper connectivity platform and AWS solutions.
In this strategic role you will serve as the voice of the customer helping shape product and solution roadmaps. Your expertise will be crucial in developing comprehensive sales enablement materials technical notes and training programs that serve Kuiper internal teams AWS partners and system integrators. Additionally youll be responsible for establishing system integration best practices processes and tools that ensure solution deployments are well-documented automated and capable of scaling to meet the needs of enterprise customers globally.

In this role you will advocate for the customer and contribute to building product and solution roadmaps. You will build sales enablement material tech notes and technical trainings for Kuiper internal teams AWS as well as partners and system integrators. Additionally youll run tests on the Kuiper network using the latest customer terminals and compare / benchmark with competitor products to clearly demonstrate Kuipers advantages differentiation and explain to partners and customers the best tests to use when they evaluate Kuiper satellite solutions.

You will collaborate with engineering product management and business development leaders to plan and execute technical on-boarding and acceptance testing for Kuiper Satellite Services delivered to enterprise customers.

You will develop system integration best practices processes and tools to ensure solution deployment can be documented automated and scale to additional enterprise customers globally.

Export Control Requirements: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.


About the team
You will be joining a team focused on driving enterprise service delivery mechanisms for all of the customer facing hardware software and systems for Project Kuiper.

- 3 years of technical product or program management experience
- 2 years of software development experience
- 3 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules

- 3 years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
