Located 20km west of Sydney on Dharug country with a population of 240000 residents Cumberland City Council is the fourth most populous Local Government Area in Greater Sydney. We have an exciting opportunity within our Technology Services team for a dynamic Service Desk Support Officer to join the team and be responsible for all staff technology related issues across all Council locations. Reporting to the Service Desk Coordinator the role includes new device configuration and distribution asset management telephony support computer network issues support for MFD (Printer) software installations and general technical assistance.
The position will also be required to assist in the rollout of new technologies across Council and participate in related projects. The position will be predominantly based in our Auburn and Merrylands Service Centres however the successful applicant will be expected to travel to any of Councils approximate 30 networked sites to provide support and conducting regular asset checks as required.

Salary information: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
