Your role and responsibilities
As Head of Contact and Assessment youll play a pivotal role in leading and delivering high-quality person-centred services across Adult Social Care. Youll lead your diverse portfolio of services including Customer First the Independence and Wellbeing Service and our Financial Inclusion and Advice will demonstrate situational and responsive leadership with confidence ensuring strong collaboration across teams and partners to improve outcomes for the people of Suffolk.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to undertake a senior leadership role alongside the current postholder while they focus on driving major transformation through Contact and Assessment services. You will play a pivotal role in sustaining effective service delivery and performance while operationalising transformation and change and promoting staff wellbeing.

The team
Youll be joining the ASC Senior Management Team and a passionate and dedicated operational leadership team across Contact and Assessment services within the Adult Social Care directorate. Were proud of our collaborative culture where everyones voice is valued and ideas are welcomed. We support hybrid working and typically will expect the postholder to work across ASC offices where Contact and Assessment services are based including Endeavour House Beacon House and at other Countywide offices to connect and collaborate with their teams.
