We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join Galenos Research a leading medical practice company. As a Pharmacy Technician you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications ensuring the accuracy and safety of pharmaceutical products. This position is vital to our companys operations as you will be responsible for supporting the pharmacy team and providing excellent customer service to patients.
As a Pharmacy Technician at Galenos Research you will be involved in various projects such as medication inventory management prescription processing and patient education. Responsibilities:
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking stock levels anticipating needed medications and placing orders.
- Remotely Process prescription orders and ensure all necessary information is complete and accurate.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Label and package medications appropriately following pharmacy regulations.
- Conduct quality control and assurance activities to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and medication management.
- Adhere to all relevant legal requirements and pharmacy policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy law and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software and computer systems.
