Description

We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Help Desk Technician to join Prins Trucking and Services a leading company in the accounting industry. As a Help Desk Technician you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our employees and ensuring smooth operations of our IT systems. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects aimed at enhancing our technology infrastructure and supporting our team members.

This role is vital to our company as you will be the first point of contact for resolving IT-related issues troubleshooting software and hardware problems and assisting users with technical inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology excellent problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic remote work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems software and hardware.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Install configure and maintain computer systems and software.
  • Set up new users accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
  • Test and evaluate new technology.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Document all help desk interactions processes and resolutions.
  • Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
