Position Summary:
The City of Prescott Department of Public Works is seeking an experienced knowledgeable and collaborative professional for the position of Maintenance Specialist with experience in the wastewater industry. Under direct supervision of the Wastewater Collections Supervisor the Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures in addition to performing grounds maintenance. Prior experience in a maintenance role at a wastewater facility and/or a mechanical and electrical background is required.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent; progressive experience in the maintenance of wastewater equipment or related field with two years performing full-time maintenance work. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in electrical mechanical plumbing building & grounds maintenance and computer programs.
Licensing Certification and Other Requirements:
A valid Arizona Class B Commercial Drivers License is required; must possess an ADEQ Grade I Wastewater Collections System Operator certification or must be obtained within twelve months of being placed into the position.
