Purpose of Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to make a considerable impact within our thriving community as a Professional Learning Programme Lead.
This role reporting into the Group Head of Professional Learning plays into the effective and successful delivery of ISPs professional learning programmes. By overseeing a focussed series of programmes that add value to our adult learners across a global network of schools you will place the greatest focus of your time on ensuring our programmes are positively impacting peoples career journeys and progressing them along in their succession development planning.
As the Programme Lead you will be responsible for the design and development of content across our flagship leadership programmes in the first instance and use your expertise surrounding the adult learner and associated business skills to enhance our extended offering over time for teachers colleagues outside of our schools and identified talent pool. Youll spearhead ISPs group of professional learning facilitators and ensure the quality of facilitation and associated high impact learning inside the classroom is evident with demonstrative impact post-learning beyond the gathering of Net Promoter Scores and completion rates.
Youll lead programmes of your own throughout the calendar year and play a key role in broadening out the current group of facilitators through the upskilling and training of others across the group internally. As such youll use your advanced knowledge and expertise surrounding leadership development and always be proactive in challenging value and inspecting impact.
Using your expertise in this space youll evolve our programme offering based on priority and need only driven in the main by our talent pipeline and ensuring our learner groups are purpose driven.

ISP Professional Learning Programme LeadKey Responsibilities
- Is responsible for the management and upkeep of all ISP professional learning programme content and associated learning materials.
- Updates enhances and evolves learning content based on current leadership methodology and thinking and ISP context using the Learning Hub LMS platform.
- Evolve and maintain an onboarding journey for leaders and teachers in school using the Learning Hub LMS platform and ensure our Heads of School / School Principals are set up for success from Day 1.
- Oversees and develops ISPs group of programme facilitators (external & internal) to ensure high impact learning is enabled and where there are opportunities identified feedback & coaching is then provided.
- Leads by example through the facilitation and leadership of professional learning programmes using self-led experiences to evolve current offerings and support others through their facilitation.
- Monitors measures and reports on the impact of every professional learning programme including how each programme has impacted learner career journeys as a result of attending and engaging.
- Ensures adult learners engaging with our programmes are doing so by purpose and as a result of successfully completing become closer to their intended target within their succession development plan.
- Develop evolve maintain and lead a train-the-trainer style model for ISP that enables the broadening out of facilitators internally across the group.
Skills Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience designing and facilitating online (virtual) professional learning and/or leadership development workshops including the hosting of events to a large audience on video channels such as Zoom Microsoft Teams or similar.
- Has advanced theoretical knowledge behind leadership development and adult learning with a keen interest to current methodologies and insights across the professional learning space.
- Is professionally driven by delivering impact and adding value through their work and has demonstrative experience in measuring impact of learning and teaching beyond measuring Net Promoter Score.
- Has significant experience using a Learning Platform to perform administrative actions and designing / curating learning content.
- Is experienced in delivering feedback to peers as well as coaching others based upon observations with a view to action planning and tangible improvement.
- Uses data and insight to inform the design of learning experiences and can bespoke learning interventions based on specific business requirements.
- Analyses data and can pinpoint key headlines to celebrate successes but also unpick opportunities quickly and in a way that will deliver the most impact.
- Can demonstrate experience in aligning designed learning with the organizations values and initiatives and in turn delivering a product that balances fulfilled people with exceptional results.
