Job Description

We are seeking an Experienced Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic to supervise our team and repair our fleet of heavy construction equipment in Newberg OR. Technicians with previous supervisory experience who have experience repairing Caterpillar and John Deere equipment will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel/gas engines hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems

  • Perform inspections preventative maintenance and part fabrication

  • Interpret service manuals schematics and diagrams

  • Can operate diagnostic tools (CAT ET SIS John Deere Service Advisor)

  • Support field and shop repairs

  • Ensure safety reliability and compliance across all equipment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment repair experience and one year supervisory experience.

  • Proficiency in welding cutting and part fabrication

  • Valid CDL Class B and clean driving record

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage: $30 $45/hr. Wages will vary based on training experience and/or qualifications

  • Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays

Shift: Days Monday - Friday.
