Job Description
Client is a multi-service law firm offering a broad range of legal services founded in 1960. Our firm is currently seeking an attorney with 3-7 years experience in the area of business bankruptcy to be based in our Fort Lauderdale office.
Candidates should have litigation experience including:
- Ability to handle all aspects of a case in state and federal court including pre-trial preparation negotiations client contact court appearances motions all aspects of discovery including depositions mediations and trials.
- Creditors rights and bankruptcy litigation experience in addition to proficiency in handling complex commercial litigation matters.
- Strong drafting and writing skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
What youll bring to the table:
- Excellent judgment and legal acumen ability to work effectively under pressure a teamwork attitude and keen leadership skills.
- Confidence and expertise to manage cases independently.
- Fortitude to go to trial.
- 3-7 years experience in the area of commercial litigation and business bankruptcies.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- You will be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and a member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
