Community Moderator - Hospitality & WordPress Education Platform
Help Build a Global Community That Empowers Hotels to Succeed Online

Position: Community Moderator
Location: Remote (Philippines preferred)
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible)
Experience Level: Entry to Mid-Level

We are a growing international platform that helps hotels around the world increase their direct bookings through education hands-on support WordPress hosting and live learning experiences like webinars and online courses.

The Role

Were looking for an enthusiastic Community Moderator to help us manage and grow our online community of hotel owners managers and marketers. Youll play a crucial role in fostering engagement ensuring a welcoming environment and supporting learners as they go through our courses and events.

Youll work closely with our education and support teams to ensure the community is helpful respectful and aligned with our mission: helping hotels take back control of their digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Moderate discussions across community forums course platforms and social channels
  • Respond to questions comments and feedback in a friendly professional tone
  • Enforce community guidelines and handle any issues or conflicts respectfully
  • Spark engagement by initiating discussions asking questions and highlighting member wins
  • Support learners during webinars and live events (chat moderation Q&A feedback)
  • Work with the content team to surface popular topics and learning needs
  • Provide weekly reports on community sentiment trends and opportunities
  • Help shape the tone growth and culture of our global learning community

Qualifications

  • Experience in online community moderation customer service or social media management
  • Excellent written English communication skills
  • Friendly empathetic and professional interpersonal style
  • Comfortable with digital platforms (Facebook Groups Circle forums Slack or similar)
  • Ability to multitask and respond promptly across multiple threads or platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and an understanding of community dynamics

Preferred (but not required)

  • Background in hospitality or experience working with hotel-related businesses
  • Familiarity with WordPress or digital marketing for hotels
  • Experience moderating live chats during webinars or online events
  • Basic content creation skills (e.g. Canva simple video clips polls)
