Job Description
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality assurance tester to join our team. This hybrid role requires a strong background in both automated and manual testing with hands-on experience in software development and the testing lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for quality assurance in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day QE activities across the Software Development and Testing Life Cycle.
Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Robot Framework Selenium and Python.
Conduct manual testing where necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify document and track defects and issues.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning retrospectives and backlog grooming.
Provide accurate test estimations and contribute to release planning.
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members across multiple locations.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with:
oRobot Framework Selenium Python
oSQL for data validation
Familiarity with Agile tools such as:
oJenkins GitHub Jira QTest or HP ALM
oExperience with GitHub Copilot is a plus
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is a significant asset.
Experience working in a hybrid Agile/DevOps environment
