About the Role

Reports to: Director of Corporate Services

Location: Melbourne or Sydney

Working Arrangement: Hybrid - with 3 days minimum per week in the office.

Hours: 4-5 days per week

Contract: Permanant

Key Responsibilities

National Disability Services (NDS) is undergoing an exciting transformation. We are seeking a proactive and collaborative IT and Systems Business Partner to lead and coordinate our digital platforms and systems. This is a pivotal role responsible not only for project delivery and systems support but also for driving a broader digital strategy that supports business needs improves user experience and enhances operational efficiency.

This role will be responsible for coordinating existing ICT projects conducting a current state assessment of NDSs IT infrastructure and helping develop a Digital Strategy and Roadmap. Youll also lead change initiatives support day-to-day operations across core business systems and liaise with vendors to deliver value to our teams and members.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert / System Administrator for key platforms including Microsoft 365 Power BI Dynamics CRM Microsoft Teams ELMO Adobe Ignite Elevate CompliSpace and the NDS Connect tenant.
  • Provide Level 1 support and coordinate with external IT providers for resolution of issues and enhancements.
  • Support integration of the CRM with the new NDS website and other third-party systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation system optimisation and improved user experience.
  • Maintain and improve the SharePoint-based intranet and document libraries including naming conventions and information architecture.
  • Support and train content authors respond to content update requests and ensure accessibility and compliance.
  • Deliver user training create support documentation and promote effective use of business systems.
  • Coordinate the distribution and return of ICT equipment for new and departing staff.



Skills And Experiences

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in IT systems coordination business analysis or digital transformation.
  • Experience conducting IT infrastructure reviews and developing digital strategies or roadmaps.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online Dynamics CRM.
  • Project management and change management capability (formal training desirable).
  • Understanding of application support APIs and systems integration.
  • Experience supporting or administering HRIS LMS Event and CMS platforms.
  • High-level digital literacy with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement communication and training skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to accessibility continuous improvement and user-centred design.

Desirable

  • Experience in the not-for-profit or membership-based sector.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles or service management frameworks.
  • Formal qualifications or certifications in project management IT or business systems.
