About the Role
As our Controller youllserve as the financial cornerstone of Rebel Athletic. Youll oversee day-to-dayaccounting operations while building the systems controls and insights thatdrive our strategic growth. This is a hands-on leadership position where youllroll up your sleeves guide a talented team and work directly with seniorleaders to provide accurate reporting strengthen compliance and fuelfinancial performance.
You wont just close thebooksyoull open the doors to smarter decision-making across the business.
What Youll Do
Oversee AP ARpayroll general ledger and cash management activities
Lead accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare internal financial statements reporting packages and varianceanalyses
Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies
Coordinate and manage annual audit processes with external auditors
Collaborate across departments to improve data integrity and streamlineworkflows
Identify and implement process improvements in close cycles and reconciliations
Optimize accounting systems (NetSuite FinancialForce and other ERP tools)
Maintain and document standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Contribute to budgeting forecasting cash flow analysis and KPI reporting
Provide strategic insights and financial recommendations to company leadership
Who You Are
Bachelors degree inAccounting Finance or related field (CPA strongly preferred)
7 years of progressive accounting experience including 2 years in aController or Assistant Controller role
Experience in a product-based high-volume multi-entity environment preferred
Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
ERP expertiseNetSuite and FinancialForce experience a major plus
Strong analytical skills with sharp attention to detail and data accuracy
Proven team leader who enjoys mentoring and coaching
Clear communicator with a collaborativesolutions-focused mindset
Always thinking aheadconstantly seeking improvements and efficiencies
Bonus: Experience in fashion consumer products or inventory/cost accounting
