Job Description

As a Senior Cost Controller/Project Controls Manager you will deliver comprehensive Project Controls Services with a focus on cost taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery on large complex and mega projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in advising at a strategic level during the project conception stage providing insights on various approaches to achieve the clients overall objectives successfully.

  • Tailoring Cost Control approaches to meet the clients needs and aligning with best practice.
  • Implementing administering and maintaining cost control systems and procedures to track project budgets commitments expenditures and forecasts.
  • Working with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust integrated well structured accurate Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and support the change control process.
  • Development of project Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) align the time phasing of budgets against the Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to accurately track and control actual costs.
  • Map and integrate cost estimates to the Work Breakdown Structure in order to set the project budget against the correct Work Packages Planning Packages and Control Accounts.
  • Lead the production of accruals to ensure that the Actual Cost of Work Performed is accurately reflected in a timely manner in the cost data.
  • Support the change process by providing cost information for change notes and to underpin forecasts.
  • Update project forecasts to ensure comprehensive and aligned Estimate To Complete (ETC).  

Qualifications :

  • 7-10 years experience
  • Specialised in a Project Controls discipline with a focus on cost
  • Line management experience and a desire to lead
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering for your clients and have the ability to work independently
