Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) On-Call Support
We are looking for a highly organized and technically skilled Maintenance Controller to manage daily maintenance operations for a fleet of aircraft. The main goal of this role is to keep aircraft in top condition and ready for use while minimizing downtime. This position is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills hands-on aircraft maintenance experience and excellent communication abilities.
Address aircraft discrepancies promptly to reduce downtime.
Use MEL (Minimum Equipment List) and NEF (Non-Essential Furnishings) manuals to defer items in line with regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors ensuring timely and quality service.
Report aircraft maintenance status and outstanding issues clearly and quickly.
Communicate with pilots technicians and other departments about aircraft issues and updates.
Work with pilots to review discrepancies and troubleshoot effectively.
Apply in-depth knowledge of airframe engine and avionics systems.
Manage parts procurement: identify correct parts find cost-effective options and manage returns.
Coordinate with the Maintenance Planner to ensure all scheduled maintenance tasks are executed properly.
Review Return to Service paperwork for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Ensure cabin items for passengers are operational and in good condition.
Focus on aircraft health and availability aiming to reduce maintenance-related delays.
Provide after-hours support when needed.
Strong understanding of aircraft systems (airframe engine avionics).
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple communication channels (phone email messaging apps) at once.
Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and hands-on maintenance.
Experience working with and managing vendors.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
Previous hands-on aircraft maintenance experience (A&P license is a plus).
Experience with Challenger 300 aircraft is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Part 135 operations documentation and compliance.
Note: This position requires enrollment in a federally mandated drug program which includes random drug testing.
Full-time
