Job Duties
Serve as support personnel to the Benefits Team and assist with benefits-related transactions not limited to health benefits enrollments agency wide. To perform high volume of data entry and audit reporting using various HRIS systems and MS applications to include Word Excel and PowerPoint etc. Skilled in policy interpretation and procedural guidance of Commonwealth of Virginia Benefits and other Programs. Perform administrative duties related to HR functions and duties as assigned by Management Team.
Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience as an Office Assistant Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
Proven ability to use multiple MS Office software
Proven ability to learn multiple web-based systems quickly and identify improvements develop procedures and training others
Knowledge of Commonwealth of Virginia benefits programs and the ability to respond to basic or routine benefit questions for employees and managers in assigned areas
Working knowledge of position personnel and benefits transactions using various HR systems within policy and procedure as well as processing these transactions within established deadlines
