About the role!
The Operations Admin is responsible for Coordinating and tracking all Sand Hill operations as well as coordinating the timely preparation and logistical implementation of the schools annual events. This position is also responsible for setting up and overseeing all school operational processes and procedures. (E.g. daily attendance student assessment data teacher anecdotal notes and the Scoop.) This position currently reports to the Vice President of Learning & Director of Sandhill School.
*This assignment is at least 6 months in length.
As an Operations Admin you will:
- Coordinate and tracks all Sand Hill operations including but not limited to
- Manage school calendar forecasting and scheduling future events activities and meetings and the logistics associated with each - Facilities reservations; alerts staff and families to upcoming events and with administration develops plan of execution for each event.
- Coordinate the timely preparation and logistical implementation of the schools annual events including Back to School Night Extravaganza Talent Show End of Year Play and Graduation as well as any other event that involves hospitality and equipment rental and/or advanced set up
- Set up and overseeing all school operational processes and procedures. (E.g. dailyattendance student assessment data teacher anecdotal notes and the Scoop.)
- Schedule appointments for administrators (Director and Assistant Director)
- Order and inventorying curriculum and office supplies including materials in the teachers workroom and all classrooms once approved by administration.
- Set up maintaining and keeping all student files current ( Evaluations ROI IEPs)
- Maintain all emergency contact information for staff and keeping student emergency medical and contact information readily accessible for quick use by any staff member.
- Routinely checking Grade link for new applications correspondences and grading as submitted by staff alerting administration to any issues.
- Be responsible for timely answering of and responding to incoming calls and e-mails
- Disseminate information to relevant school staff and ensuring calendars of schoolsadministrative staff are updated and accurate. Informing relevant school staff as to arrival of school visitors and if not available to personally escort visitors to school office or appropriate location.
- Schedule assessments in collaboration with school districts.
- Ensure the timely dissemination of information throughout the School by posting morning announcements indicating events visitors and meetings occurring that day.
- Record and document staff absences on a bi-monthly basis and provides thatinformation to the HOS.
- Maintain lobby in a neat and presentable manner.
- Respond in positive and helpful manner to requests that come in from staff.
- Assist school administrators with acute projects as requested.
- As the initial face of Sand Hill present a warm sensitive and flexible presence.
- Assist with medication management and basic first aid.

About your background (education/experience):
- Bachelors Degree in administrative educational or relevant field preferred.
- Pro-Act Training preferred. If not trained this will be provided.
- First Aid/CPR Certified.
- Has worked in a school setting.

Compensation:
Range: $30.00-$33.00 per hour
Pay Type: hourly
