About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Program/Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives and drive impactful outcomes particularly in vegetation management. This role is a key leadership position in a team tasked with delivering vegetation management differently through operational trialling testing and reporting on alternative vegetation management delivery models.
The Program Manager will assume operational responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the vegetation program utilising both internal and external resources including providing constructive and data driven feedback on the success or otherwise of different delivery models.
The geographical test footprint is located on the south coast of NSW and therefore the successful applicant would need to reside in or nearby to the Moruya Bega or Bombala Depot locations.
About You
Leadership & Collaboration
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and work collaboratively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong relationship management influencing and negotiation skills including with senior leadership.
- Demonstrated adaptability and decision-making skills focused on achieving strategic outcomes.
- Extensive experience managing complex programs in large organisations ideally within vegetation management in the energy utilities sector.
- Strong skills in cost control resource planning risk management and stakeholder engagement.
- Expertise in contract administration negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business improvements and assess delivery risks to propose cost-effective solutions.
Advanced understanding of vegetation forecasting techniques commercial considerations and risk management principles.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering Project Management Business or equivalent Commercial qualification or demonstrated capability through past employment experiences and/or relevant qualifications.
- White Card - Workcover Induction for Construction Work - General Course.
- Drivers Licence.

- Electrical Trade qualifications
- Certificate II ESI: Powerline Vegetation Control
- Certificate III in Arboriculture
