Whats the role
Youll be leading the charge in shaping how Westpac manages technology assurance strategically smartly and with impact. This isnt just assurance work; its about influencing how we think about resilience risk maturity and control effectiveness across the Group. Youll design and deliver high-value assurance reviews partner with senior leaders and help drive meaningful change.
Based in Sydney this full-time role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to contribute to critical risk initiatives within a major Australian financial institution. Youll be solving complex challenges and helping strengthen the organisations approach to technology risk.
What do I need
Were looking for a strategic thinker with deep technical insight and a passion for making things better. Youll bring:
- Expertise in IT assurance and audityouve led end-to-end reviews across cyber data IT operations and third-party risk and know how to assess control design and effectiveness with precision.
- Strong analytical and reporting skillsyou can turn complex findings into clear compelling insights that drive action and uplift risk maturity.
- Stakeholder savvyyoure confident engaging with senior leaders influencing decisions and building trusted relationships across diverse teams.
- Leadership capabilityyouve coached others led initiatives and fostered a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
