Job Description

About the Role:

You will create relationships between the Association and all state CPA societies individually and collectively. Develop strategies that guide the Association and state CPA societies to jointly serve members in all areas of practice. Grow important relationships with state society CEOs deputy CEOs and staff Facilitate strategic state society relationships that help the Association protect the public interest serve shared members and meet strategic goals including implementing revised state CPA licensure changes. Develop monitor and implement strategies and programs that encompass state CPA societies as critical and unique partners with the Association supporting state society roles in Association governance state and federal advocacy self-regulation lifelong learning and ethics. You will report to the VP - State Advocacy & State Society Relations.

You Will:

  • Set the tone create strategy and lead by example to support and coordinate state society relationships across all Association teams and advocate for state society interests among our teams.

  • Help create state legislative strategies and provide strategic support for implementing revised mobility and substantial equivalency framework adoption along with other legislative issues.

  • Identify opportunities encourage and support Association collaboration with state societies in new and ongoing programs and serve as resource for internal and external issues affecting state societies.

  • Create awareness about potential pitfalls to state societies and offer constructive solutions

  • Manage grassroots strategies and communications for federal advocacy plans

  • Monitor legislative and regulatory trends in congressional state and global activities along with association management issues and provides frequent and broad source of information about Association and profession programs and opportunities to state societies

  • Use a hybrid work schedule

You Have:

Experience simultaneously leading and managing programs

Bachelors degree

The Annual Salary Range for this role is: $170000-$213000
