General Summary:The employee helps ensure that the school building and grounds are clean ready and secure and conducts themselves within a framework of shared ministry and Catholic values. Duties and Responsibilities: - Clean and prepare school indoor and outdoor facilities for each school day.
- Assist with event cleanup from previous evenings activities.
- Maintain secure indoor and outdoor facilities before school hours.
- Periodic facilities maintenance (e.g. Painting Changing Light Bulbs)
- Utilize smartphone and the Facility Teams task management application.
- Practice universal precautions when cleaning up areas potentially contaminated with blood-borne pathogens.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities or Director of Infrastructure.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Education: High School Diploma Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience preferred Required: Valid State of Michigan Drivers License Preferably Catholic Physical Demands: Must be able to move and load equipment and supplies that weigh 50 pounds or more. Must be able to work independently without direct supervision. Must be able to bend stoop squat reach and climb ladders.
